We are living a specific moment in history when the old and the new are co-existing in the same time and space. Legislation can be seen as a document read by humans (the old). But a piece of legislation ⚖️can also be read by computers, making connections and relations across documents and allowing ecosystems of developers and innovators to create new apps and services on top of that. This is the vision of Aeco Legal a legaltech startup. They just release what is called an API. A piece of code that allows interoperability between law (as code) and other apps. We had an interesting conversation about this with Thomas Aergerts. Watch the video here.
